It is not a tool for bypassing face or identity verification — Dorian makes living-portrait references for artists to draw and paint from.

Your privacy

What Dorian is, and the little we keep about you.

Synthetic faces, not real people

Dorian is a library of short living-portrait references for artists — a synthetic face performing a small head or face movement, to draw and paint from. Every face is AI-generated; none is a photograph of a real person. Dorian is not a tool for impersonating anyone, or for bypassing or defeating identity, liveness, or face-verification systems — that's stated plainly across the site, and we don't support using it that way.

What we actually store

The only media we keep are the synthetic clips in the shared library — never a photo or video of you.

Free and Premium

Dorian is freemium. Free gives you a daily allowance of emotes from the library. Premium is a monthly subscription that unlocks unlimited emotes plus the premium dorians, lighting, camera looks and speed. There are no credits to buy or track — just Free or Premium.

Limiting abuse, without tracking you

To stop someone creating endless accounts to farm the free allowance, we store a salted, one-way hash of your IP address when you sign up. We never store the address itself, the hash can't be reversed back to it, and it isn't linked to anything you do in the app — it's used only to spot bursts of signups from the same network. Burner emails are fine.

Payments

Premium is billed through Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe — Dorian never sees or stores them. We keep only the Stripe subscription and customer identifiers tied to your account so your plan can renew and you can manage or cancel it.

Photos stay in memory, by design

Today you browse and play references from the library — there's no camera capture or photo upload in the product. A future "reactive" feature would let you point a camera at a written instruction; it's built so any image is handled in memory only, just long enough to read the instruction, and never written to disk, logged, kept, or used to train anything. That principle holds whenever capture is switched on.

Other services

The synthetic clips in the library are generated offline by our own tooling before they ever reach you; the AI services involved in making them don't receive your account details. Stripe is the only third party that handles your data, and only for payment.
